ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve
The 8th Meeting of ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR) Council was successfully conducted on 17-19 February 2020 in Bagan, Myanmar. The Meeting was organised by the APTERR Secretariat and hosted by the Department ofAgriculture (DOA), Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation (MOALI) of Myanmar.
The APTERR Secretariat led by Mr. Chanpithya Shimphalee, General Manager, attended the 41st Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry (41st AMAF), the 19th Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry Plus Three (19th AMAF+3) and related meetings held in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam during 12-17 October 2019.
The APTERR Secretariat attended the 39th Meeting of the ASEAN Food Security Reserve Board (AFSRB) on 15-16 August 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Meeting was organised by the AFSRB Secretariat and hosted by the Department of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce of Thailand.
The Special Senior Officials Meeting of the 40th Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry (SSOM-40th AMAF) and the Special Senior Officials Meeting of the 18th Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry Plus Three (SSOM-18th AMAF+3) were held on 5 - 7 August 2019 in Hue, Viet Nam.
The 7th Meeting of ASEAN Plus Three Emergency Rice Reserve (APTERR) Council was held on 19 – 20 February 2019 in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
The Meeting was organised by the APTERR Secretariat and hosted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry of Malaysia. The Meeting was attended by member countries and APTERR staff members. Dr. Zunika Binti Mohamed, Deputy Secretary General (Policy) of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry of Malaysia presided over this meeting.
