This year 2023 marks the 20th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) which was held during 16 – 19 September 2023 at Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center, Nanning, Guangxi, the People’s Republic of China (P.R. China). The event was participated by both governmental and private organisations from various sectors from each ASEAN countries and P.R. China, including agricultural and food industry. The APTERR Secretariat team, led by Dr. Choomjet Karnjanakesorn, attended the event and met with many exhibition booths of company related in food industry, focusing on the prepared-food products in order to expand the views on pre-cooked rice for future feasible initiative and project.
In this regard, the Department of International Cooperation of the MARA of P.R. China had suggested the APTERR team pay a visit on the Shangdong province’s exhibition booth that has many prepared-food producers to gain more information and knowledge on the current trend of prepared-food product which seems to be a convenient choice as a type of diet during the time of emergency and disaster.
