The Special Senior Officials Meeting of the 37th Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry (SSOM-37th AMAF) and the Special Senior Officials Meeting of the 15th ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry Plus Three (SSOM-15th AMAF+3) were held in Palawan, the Republic of the Philippines on 22 – 25 August 2016.

The Special Senior Officials Meeting of the 37th Meeting of the ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry (SSOM-37th AMAF) and the Special Senior Officials Meeting of the 15th ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry Plus Three (SSOM-15th AMAF+3) were held in Palawan, the Republic of the Philippines on 22 – 25 August 2016.
The representatives from the APTERR Secretariat seized this opportunity to report the progress of the APTERR to the Meeting. The Meeting noted the report on the implementation of APTERR Tier 3 programme to assist the people affected by typhoon Melor in the Philippines as well as the Tier 3 programme in Cambodia.
The acquisition of the legal personality as a juristic person of the APTERR Secretariat under the national law of Thailand was also noted by the Meeting.
The SSOM-38th AMAF and SSOM-16th AMAF+3 will be hosted by Singapore in 2017.
