On 20 September 2024, General Manager of the APTERR Secretariat Dr. Choomjet Karnjanakesorn led a team including Japanese Expert Mr. Akinori Ando, Head of Implementation Ms. Jansinee Kankaew, and Technical Staff of FEMI Ms. Nattavadee Sraprathum to pay a courtesy call on Minister Counsellor Kittivudh Pinyowit at the Thai Embassy in Brunei Darussalam.
During the visit, the APTERR Secretariat introduced its activities in strengthening regional food security and exchanged views with the Thai Embassy on the current food situation.
This visit was a side activity of the APTERR Secretariat after having the meeting on a potential cooperation on Tier 1 between Brunei Darussalam and Japan at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism on 19 September 2024 in Bandar Seri Begawan.
