On 18 December 2019, Mr. Chanpithya Shimphalee, General Manager together with Mr. Kenji Okuhira, Japanese Expert and the APTERR staff attended the seminar on ‘Thailand’s Agricultural Economic Situation in 2019 and Outlook in 2020,’ under the theme of “Disruptive Agricultural Technology: National Agricultural Big Data” held at Rama Gardens Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand.
The seminar was organised by the Office of Agricultural Economics, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand and presided over by Mr. Narapat Kaewthong, Vice Minister of Agriculture. The highlight of the seminar was to emphasis on a significance of establishing a national agricultural big data. In this regard, having an integrated and analytical agricultural data could considerably benefit an improvement of APTERR’s food security monitoring and evaluation system in the future.
On the side of the event, the APTERR’s exhibition booth was displayed to promote APTERR’s activities and received a lot of attention from participants.
